Arkansas/Softball

I have been home from school for almost a week now and I sadly forgot how boring Arkansas was. I have been shopping, went and saw a movie and been to softball practice and that is where the fun stops. There isn't a lot to do in my small and boring town. Oh well, in about three months I will be in Memphis.

I have decided to play softball for Chili's again this summer. I have been upgrade from Designated Hitter to playing right field. I went to my first practice last night and today I'm in so much pain. My arm is swollen and my knees pop every time I walk. I don't mind the pain, I'm pretty use to it. Our team isn't really the best, but at least it isn't full of alcoholics this year. I will let you know how we do.

GRADUATED!!!!

I have finally done it. I'm now a college graduate and I'm feeling pretty good. Friday, Missouri was hit by several bad storms and my school was smack dab in the middle of all of it. Around noon we lost electricity and everyone was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. School was cancelled along with graduation practice. No one knew what was going to happen and we were all pretty much clueless. Around 7 that night I was sent several text messages from everyone saying that graduation was back on.
On May 9, 2009, I woke up ready to graduate. When I arrived at school I was told that we were not having pictures taken and everyone was going crazy about where everyone should be. Instead of being divided by degrees, we were all put together by categories. We stood for an hour with no A/C and about 75 people in one little hallway.
Finally it was time for us to walk, Yay, We made it to the gym floor and we were introduced by our President. Then he informed us that our guest speaker, Missouri Governor Nixon, couldn't make it due to damage throughout Missouri. I was so happy because that made graduation so much faster. I received my diploma holder and now I have to take finals. That's right I graduate and then take finals. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Spring Picnic

Today was our annual Spring Picnic at M.A.C. My club, Student Government, decided to have a stress relief and laid bubble rap on the ground and people could come by and stomp, jump, dance or roll to relief their stress. We made our area a Hawaiian theme and really enjoyed the day. The sun even decided to come out and make the day even better. I was kind of sad when we were taking everything down, this was my last picnic and I was going to miss the craziness.

Word to the wise, do not put double sided carpet tape down on concrete and try to put bubble rap on top. It doesn't work very well and your shoe can get stuck on it and break when you try to lift your foot. I have to buy a new pair of flip flops now. Oh well, it was worth it.

No Sleep

It is 3:30 in the morning and I have just finished my literature homework and I don't feel any smarter. I had to write a summary of a poem. I really don't like poetry, short stories, or reading plays. I would rather watch a play, read a real book, and just get rid of poetry. I also had to write in my journal about short stories I have read in the past month and a half and I realized that the stories we have read are very messed up and disturbing. Oh well, I have two and half more weeks so I'm not stressing. I'm going to try to get some sleep before my class. Good Night!

Almost Done!

In two weeks I will be graduating from Junior College and leaving Missouri for good. I have been remembering all the great times I have had during these past two years and realized how crazy they have been.
I have lived with the same girl for two years and about a month before we both leave each other forever, we have had a falling out. I can care less really, but I'm not going to let her ruin my final moments.
I will miss my best friend Megan. I have gotten to know her and she is a wonderful person. I hope her and her new husband Cole have a wonderful life together. I'm truly going to miss all of my friends.
